In the process of quantitative research,the hypothesis formulated at the beginning of the

research is to be tested based on the inferential statistical tests population.There is a need to collect required quantitative data by using appropriate till viz.tests,rating scales, inventories etc.The collected data is to be verified and validated by cleaning the data. his will help the researcher to prepare the data for analysis,interpretation and testing of hypotheses.The inferential statistical tests used by the researcher can be classified broadly into two categories such as parametric tests and non parametric tests. A researcher is going to choose appropriate inferential statistical test for testing of hypotheses depending on the sample and its population. To undertake the process of analysis and interpretation of quantitative data as well as testing of formulated hypotheses,the creation of data base file using the appropriate software is needed for the researcher.
